Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set up artwork for print production
Ensure files are print-ready and meet quality standards
Work within established workflows to meet production deadlines
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate output
Manage pre-press processes for lithographic printing
Perform quality checks on layouts, colours, and formatting

Requirements

Proven experience as a DTP Operator (lithographic environment preferred)
Experience with bookwork and/or magazine layouts is advantageous
Proficiency in:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
Familiarity with print workflows and pre-press processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Post Matric related qualification (Diploma/Certificate or higher)
3-5 years related work experience

Preferred Skills

Experience working in a high-volume print environment
Understanding of colour management and print specifications
Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously
