About the Role

As a Field Service Technician at Communicate Finance in Pinetown, KZN, you will be responsible for installing and repairing pumps and systems on site, while also developing relationships with key role players and identifying new prospects to generate pump sales. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies, provide accurate feedback to management, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and repair pumps and systems on site
• Liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• On site problem solving
• Identify new prospects and cold call on potential customers
• Generate new pump sales: spares, pumps and systems
• Develop and implement strategies with the sales team
• Provide accurate and constant feedback to management
• Track previous services completed and ensure customers to service again with us
• Develop relationships with key role players – Technicians, Engineers, Contractors and Distributors

Requirements

• Experience in end-user repairs or technical knowledge of compressors, valves and blowers
• Technical knowledge of leak detectors and industrial equipment
• Good communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or Millwright trade
