About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our team at Communicate Finance in Pinetown, Durban. As a key member of our engineering team, you will apply your engineering fundamentals to real-world mechanical and industrial systems, assisting in designing process and pump system solutions for industrial applications. You will also be responsible for creating technical drawings, calculations, manuals, and operating procedures, working with ISO standards and best-practice engineering methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering fundamentals to real-world mechanical and industrial systems
• Assist in designing process and pump system solutions for industrial applications
• Create technical drawings, calculations, manuals, and operating procedures
• Work with ISO standards and best-practice engineering methods
• Support technical tenders, proposals, and Bills of Materials
• Get hands-on exposure during site installations, testing, and commissioning
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and learn how decisions are made

Requirements

• Minimum 0–3 years’ experience (graduates encouraged to apply)
• Exposure to SolidWorks and CAD tools
• Confident communicator who enjoys teamwork and client interaction
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves for site-based work
• A strong interest in growing into a systems engineering role

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
