About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and hunter-focused Sales Manager to drive growth within the South African automotive sector. This pivotal role focuses on developing new business and strategically expanding existing accounts in the accessory market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and secure new clients while growing existing account portfolios
- Lead the end-to-end RFQ process, from initiation to proposal submission
- Manage key customer relationships and act as the primary internal customer advocate
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- A proven sales professional with 10-15 years of experience selling parts within the Automotive Accessory Market (OEM or Independent Aftermarket)
- A strategic hunter, skilled in identifying new opportunities, leading the RFQ process, and closing complex deals
- Possesses strong commercial acumen, with expertise in negotiations, financial management, and market analysis
