About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Foreman to join our client’s team in Cape Town. The Production Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines
  • Oversee and supervise production workers, ensuring that they adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Train and mentor production staff to ensure proper understanding of job duties and expectations
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in proper working condition, and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to resolve any issues that may arise during production processes
  • Keep accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production output, and employee performance
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a Production Foreman or similar role in a manufacturing environment

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of production processes and equipment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in production management or a related field is a plus
