<p><em><strong>MAINTENANCE MANAGER, LUXURY PROPERTY, PLETTENBERG BAY</strong></em></p><p></p><p><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">The purpose of the position is to ensure that the property is maintained and kept in a pristine condition by performing general repairs and maintenance and overseeing maintenance staff.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:</span></p><p style="text-align:start"></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> 3-5 years experience in a 5-star hotel or similar environment</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Managerial experience in Maintenance</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Experience in planning and executing maintenance operations.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Computer literacy</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Must be motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Must be a team player, with a positive attitude.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Must be willing to work shifts.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Must be able to work under pressure.</span></p><p>Must reside in the area</p><p style="text-align:start"></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">Key Performance Objectives:</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Ownership of all maintenance challenges pertaining to plumbing, electrical and general maintenance</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation thereof.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Inspecting facilities and identify resolution to challenges.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Regular maintenance of refrigerators and air conditioners</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Responsible for all general equipment, services, and external contractors</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Maintain an effective and efficient relationship with external service providers and contractors.</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Purchase and maintain stock levels for required daily maintenance, and</span></p><p style="text-align:start"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);"> Manage maintenance budget</span></p>
