Job Summary
- Maintaining accurate financial records and process transactions up to trail balance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, EMP201, and EMP501 returns.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with UIF and WCA requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register.
- Able to work with multiple accounting software platforms, including but not limited to: Xero, Pastel, Sage online, Quickbooks online, Zoho, Pastel payroll and Excel.
- Handling multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear and timely updates.
Skills and Requirements:
- Fully Computer literate with Experience with various accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
- Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience
- Matric
- Relevant certificate or Diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or Finance
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Strong time management skills in a professional services environment
