About the Role
We are seeking an experienced couple to manage our remote lodge in South Africa. As a live-in position, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the lodge, ensuring excellent guest experiences and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily lodge operations with limited staff
- Develop and implement financial management plans
- Monitor budget and cost control
- Ensure compliance with operational standards
- Foster strong relationships with guests to maintain high satisfaction levels
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a small hospitality operation (lodge, guesthouse, etc.)
- Strong understanding of full lodge operations with limited staff
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing small teams
- Hospitality or tourism qualifications (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license for both candidates
- Guiding qualification (preferred for one partner)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in hospitality or a related field (if applicable)
