Job Title: Barman Luxury Hotel Location: Polokwane, Limpopo Position Type: Full-Time | Live-Out A distinguished luxury hotel in the heart of Polokwane is looking for a skilled and charismatic Barman to join our exceptional food and beverage team. This is your opportunity to work in an elegant, high-end environment that prides itself on delivering world-class service and unforgettable guest experiences. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about mixology, knowledgeable about fine beverages, and thrives in an upmarket, guest-focused setting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and compliant with hygiene standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the beverage menu, specials, and promotions Process orders efficiently using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions accurately Assist with bar stock takes and inventory control Monitor guest consumption and comply with legal alcohol service regulations Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barman in a luxury hotel, lodge, or fine dining establishment Solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Neat and professional appearance Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required Own reliable transport (live-out position) Attributes Were Looking For: Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence High energy, reliable, and well-organised Calm under pressure and solution-oriented Strong attention to detail and presentation Confident and approachable personality What We Offer: Work in a prestigious, well-established luxury hotel environment Join a dynamic team with a strong service culture Opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality group Competitive salary based on experience If youre ready to bring your skills to one of Polokwanes top luxury hotels and be part of a refined, service-driven team, wed love to meet you.
