Tsebo is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager to lead the daily operations of a key client site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services in alignment with site-specific SLAs, fostering strong client relationships, conducting site visits, and supporting the development of on-site management teams. This role requires effective budget management and a focus on achieving growth targets while ensuring compliance with Tsebos operational standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities Full accountability for the management of the unit Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment Establish and uphold service delivery standards Lead; motivate, train, and develop staff Implement and monitor operational controls within budget Ensure food quality, presentation, and service meet Tsebo standards Adhere to all Tsebo policies and procedures Manage daily HR and IR matters, including training and performance management Anticipate client needs and address potential concerns proactively Organize; prepare, and coordinate all functions and events Oversee all administrative tasks, financials, budgets, and debtors Process Tsebo documentation and interpret weekly/monthly P&L reports Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required Stay updated on food trends and industry best practices Skills and Competencies Strong business acumen Excellent interpersonal and time management skills Proficient in computer applications Reliable and detail-oriented Innovative mindset for improving systems Strong communication and organizational abilities High level of accuracy Qualifications and Experience Matric and relevant culinary tertiary qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in a similar management role Familiarity with accounting systems Experience in the Mining or Commercial sector is highly advantageous
