A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Foreman with strong technical expertise in production environments to join their team in Polokwane . Responsibilities: Achieve maximum production output by minimizing downtime through effective maintenance of machinery and equipment. Prepare and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure continuous plant availability. Supervise, train, and motivate the maintenance team, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely. Oversee and assist with complex repairs, particularly involving PLCs (Siemens S7), variable speed drives, and electrical control circuits. Manage and optimize the utilization of materials, spares, and manpower within the department. Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring all activities remain within financial constraints. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and company safety standards. Identify opportunities for technical improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and safety inspections. Requirements: Relevant National Diploma or qualified Trade Test (Millwright or Electrical). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or maintenance environment. Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within a manufacturing setting. Working knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7), variable speed drives, and electrical control circuits. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Proficient in budget management and resource optimization.
