Production Supervisor

Concrete related construction products

Our client, manufacturing of concrete related construction products, is looking for an experienced and motivated PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to join their team in Polokwane.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee labour and record absenteeism.
• Issues safety materials daily.
• Records all production figures accurately for make and stack.
• Ensures absentees are covered in all jobs.
• Ensures labour use lock out system ( LOTOTO ) when conducting change overs or work stoppages.
• Ensures compliance with company’s good housekeeping practice and provides equipment to keep plant clean.
• Ensures down time is clean up time
• Ensures compliance with the company safety rules as well as the OHS Act.
• Carry out any task not stipulated when requested to do so.
• Must be computer literate and able to work with SAGE.
• Ensures reduction of non-essential overtime.
• Coordinates plant profile change over
• Must be well experienced in most tasks.

Requirements:

1. Relevant Tertiary degree / diploma
2. Must be from a manufacturing environment
3. EE candidates
4. Must reside in Polokwane or close proximity

Salary: R22 000 upwards (negotiable)

Basic Salary = R 23 000 – R 25 000 per month
