Job Purpose:

A skilled and experienced Assistant Lodge Manager is sought to join the team at a prestigious 5-star lodge. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Minimum Criteria Required:

  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a 5-star establishment as an Assistant Lodge Manager, Duty Manager, or Guest Relations Manager.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and enhance overall guest satisfaction, including managing special requests.
  • Monitor guest feedback on platforms such as Guest Revu and TripAdvisor to ensure high satisfaction ratings.
  • Assist the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge team service operations.
  • Uphold and elevate service standards across all lodge functions.
  • Supervise and manage lodge operations effectively in the absence of the Lodge Manager.
  • Coordinate departmental teams to optimize guest service delivery.
  • Conduct targeted training sessions to enhance both technical and soft skills among team members.
  • Work towards achieving quality improvement targets set by management.
  • Develop comprehensive policies, processes, and standards governing lodge operations.
  • Manage cash handling processes to minimize variances within acceptable limits.
  • Ensure effective stock management and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee the maintenance of lodge equipment through preventative measures.
  • Take responsibility for the overall performance of the lodge in the absence of the Lodge Manager.

Required Competencies:

  • Proven experience in lodge management.
  • Proficiency in POS/PMS systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
