About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Port Elizabeth branch, bringing a strong background in transport operations, logistics, and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing teams, handling claims, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring seamless delivery of services to customers.
- Analyze financial statements and budgeting to optimize branch performance and drive revenue growth.
- Handle claims and disputes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective industrial relations strategies to maintain a positive team dynamic.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Matric A or equivalent qualification
- National Transport Diploma or Degree in Commerce (prerequisite)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transport furniture removal or logistics operations
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
- Previous international shipping experience
- Computer literacy on Google web-based applications, Excel, and Word
- Extensive industrial relations experience
