About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our sales and marketing strategy, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and increasing our market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively search, pursue and engage potential clients
- Manage the compilation, and where necessary draft, high quality proposals, bids and tender responses
- Follow-up and survey leads generated through various channels and cold calling
- Ensure tenders and bids are responded to in a professional, timely and compliant manner
- Engage and manage strategic suppliers who are providing solution and commercial content for proposals, bids and tender responses
- Identify weaknesses in sales process and address them
- Follow-up on cancelled contracts
- Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and ideally exceeded
Requirements
- 3 years solid experience In Business Development & Best Practices within the Sales Environment within the services industry (hygiene, sanitation, toilet hire, facilities management etc)
- Strong Sales & Marketing Knowledge (Ideally In The Services Industry)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing
