Job Description
Our Client, a market leader in the FMCG production and supply industry, is seeking to employ an experienced and business minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to their dynamic leadership team.
Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience (manufacturing / production sector, preferably FMCG or agri-business) will secure!
Structured senior management remuneration package commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
- CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience (manufacturing sector, preferably FMCG or agribusiness).
- Proven track record managing complex financial operations across multiple entities.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, strategic finance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Leadership and influence skills.
- Financial and analytical expertise.
- Integrity and ethical judgment.
- Strong risk management capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on financial planning, risk management, and investment decisions.
- Contribute to the development and execution of corporate strategy, ensuring financial alignment across subsidiaries.
- Lead the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee group-wide financial consolidation and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
- Manage capital structure, funding strategies, and relationships with financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulations, tax laws, and governance standards.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Provide financial oversight and strategic guidance to subsidiaries, aligning goals with group objectives.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across the group.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Promote ethical leadership and uphold company values in all financial practices.
