Job Description
The IT Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Shared Services Centre by managing day-to-day office activities, coordinating both administrative and IT-related tasks, and maintaining effective communication across teams. This role oversees general office operations while supporting essential functions such as handling incoming and outgoing emails, phone calls, and mail, as well as coordinating meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate office operations and procedures
- Organize office events
- Monitoring and ordering inventory and stationary for office
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Organizing records and other important documentation
- Event coordination
- Ordering repairs for office equipment, maintenance, groceries
- Connecting with vendors
- Health and Safety
- Assist with SSC IT activities
- Pluralsight lucky draws
- Photos, certifications, newsletters
- Ordering of reward goodies
- Organizing team activities
- Assist PMO team with project task coordination
- PMO FreshService support tickets
- Attend office and PMO related meetings
- Create PowerPoint presentations as required
- Any additional duties or responsibilities as reasonably assigned, in support of operational needs
Requirements:
- Matric
- A minimum of 3 years of experience required as an office coordinator, project coordinator or any similar role
- Experience working in a highly fast-paced environment
- The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English, is a must. Other languages could prove useful.
- Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
