Job Description
- Planning and controlling change within the Machine Shop and other specified areas
- Monitoring and analysing the current system of production to check it’s effective, and working out a strategy for improvement
- Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Reviewing operational budget and managing the costs associated
- Generate and display shifts performance against targets
- Analyse various shift performance tracking sheets (OEE) daily, communicate discrepancies with Co-ordinators, implement actions and monitor improvements
- Track sample built as per the Sample Progress Tracking Sheets and advise manager should risks be identified
- Facilitate and monitor employee training programs & maintain budgeted manning levels in the designated areas
- Drive plant First Time Pass Rate improvements
