About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Controller to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our research projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across various initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to make informed business decisions based on reliable and valid data.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data monitoring and quality audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
- Monitor and analyse data quality metrics, proactively identify trends and patterns that may affect data integrity and take appropriate actions to address them.
- Execute survey and application tests to verify the functionality, performance, and usability thereof.
- Participate in designing of quality control processes, scripts, scorecards, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in a data quality assurance role, in a market research or related industry.
- Strong administrative and computer literacy skills (including Zoom/MS Teams, Office Package particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of data quality principles, data profiling techniques, and data cleansing methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Research) advantageous.
