Our client based in PE, Eastern Cape is currently looking for a Regional Business Development and Operations Manager to join their team Overview: They are a leading IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Development and Operations Manager to join their Port Elizabeth office. This role combines new business development with operational management, focusing on selling SLA-based IT solutions to clients while ensuring the smooth operation of the regional office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, a proven track record in selling SLA solutions, and the ability to manage a team and operations effectively.

Requirements:

Matric Valid Driver`s License own transport Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or operational management within the IT MSP industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, particularly in selling SLA-based IT solutions. Strong understanding of IT Managed Services, including: Proactive monitoring and maintenance Cloud computing and cybersecurity Network and infrastructure management Helpdesk and end-user support Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and IT service management tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar). Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape market is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region, specifically targeting clients in need of IT Managed Services and SLA-based solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners in the IT and business sectors. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the IT MSP industry. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the companys market presence in the Eastern Cape, with a focus on SLA-driven IT services such as: Proactive IT support and maintenance, Network and infrastructure management, Cloud services and cybersecurity solutions, Data backup and disaster recovery and End-user support and helpdesk services. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, emphasising the value of SLA-based IT solutions. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Port Elizabeth office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies. Manage and mentor a team of technical and administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery for IT clients. Ensure the office meets all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and inventory for the regional office.
