As the Global IT Director , you will play a pivotal role in driving the organizations global technology strategy, overseeing IT infrastructure, and leading the digital transformation journey. This senior leadership position will require you to manage a global team, develop cutting-edge IT solutions, and ensure the alignment of technology with business objectives across all regions.

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field Experience within the financial services or risk management sector is advantageous Proven track record of managing successful digital transformation initiatives. Professional certifications in IT management, cybersecurity, or relevant fields (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, PMP) are a plus Proven experience as an IT Director, CIO, or in a similar senior IT leadership role with a global reach Extensive experience in IT strategy, operations, and digital transformation across multiple regions Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data governance Expertise in risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to global IT environments Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels Ability to think strategically while driving practical, operational solutions Experience with managing large-scale budgets and vendor relationships Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities Reference Number for this position is GZ60331 which is a permanent position based in Eastern Cape offering a cost to company salary of R1200k per annum
