Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities in the distribution and logistics market.
• Develop and manage a qualified new business pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term sustainable partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver tenders, proposals and presentations.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop cross-silo solutions and ensure smooth implementation of new accounts.
• Maintain accurate client information and sales data within the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales reports to management and meet defined activity KPIs.

Requirements: 

• Matric.
• 1–2 years new business sales experience within the transport and logistics industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business targets.
• Experience in tender management and solution selling.
• Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite (intermediate level).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A basic understanding of supply chain processes will be advantageous.
