About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically knowledgeable Sales Representative to operate within the irrigation, water systems, and agricultural supplies sector. This role requires a candidate with strong industry knowledge, proven sales ability, and the professionalism to manage a highly specialised and competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and promote irrigation systems and related products to agricultural, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Provide technical advice and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively sourcing new business.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and stay up to date with industry developments.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed agreed sales targets.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales within the irrigation, pump, water filtration, or agricultural supply industry.
- Strong understanding of product applications, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle (essential).

- Proven sales experience in most or all of the following product categories:
- Irrigation Systems & Supplies
- Drip irrigation systems
- Sprinkler systems
- Micro irrigation
- Valves and controllers.
- Pumps
- Centrifugal pumps
- Submersible pumps
- Booster pumps.
- Water Filtration Systems
- Sand filters
- Disc filters
- Screen filters
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
- Piping & Fittings
- PVC and UPVC pipes (pressure ratings, applications, industry standards)
- Compression fittings
- PP fittings
- Connectors, elbows, tees, adaptors.
- Agricultural & Water-Related Supplies
- General agricultural water solutions and infrastructure products.
