Job Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join our mining team in the Northern Cape. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a mining crew, ensuring that production targets are met, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and supervise a team of mining employees on a designated shift
– Ensure that all mining activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures
– Monitor production targets and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets
– Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are being followed
– Train and mentor new employees to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively
– Assist with developing mining plans and schedules to optimize production efficiency
– Communicate regularly with the mine manager and other supervisors to coordinate activities and address any issues that may arise
– Maintain accurate records of production levels, equipment usage, and employee performance

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a mining environment
– Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
– Relevant mining qualifications or certifications
– Knowledge of mining equipment and processes
– Strong communication and leadership skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
