About the Role
Our client in the Outdoor Industry is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join their team. As a key member of the store management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resource, administration, and sales
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Implement and execute action plans based on Departmental performance and monthly expenses
- Meet goals and metrics set out in the Ops scorecard
- Manage budget and ensure all expenses stay within the set parameters
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation through E-learning, on-the-job training, supplier training
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in retail management or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (not required)
