(eng= Bookkeeper/Accountant Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their team. This role is essential in managing financial records, overseeing financial transactions, and ensuring accurate reporting. Location: Babelegi, Pretoria Salary: R20,000- R35,000 Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 16:30, Fridays 08:00 15:30 Available Positions: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: Supervise the Finance department and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff. Verify transactions and ensure they are recorded in the correct book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger. Bring books to the trial balance stage. Reconcile bank accounts daily. VAT calculations and completion of VAT201 returns. Attend to VAT reviews by SARS. Assist with calculating inventory costing. Complete tax calculations and forms (VAT, EMP201,etc). Enter data, maintain records and create reports. Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner. Maintain the fixed asset register in Excel, including depreciation and wear-and-tear calculations. Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with any other financial functions requested by the Financial Manager. Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years proven bookkeeping experience. Own transport and valid driver’s license. Proficiency in Excel. Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantagous. Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping, including accounts payable, posting, and managing accounting figures. Knowledge in Sage Evolution and VIP or other payroll software is advantageous. Verifieer transaksies en verseker dat dit in die regte joernale, verskaffer-en-kliënt en groot boeke opgeteken word. Bring boeke na die proefbalansstadium. Rekonsilieer daagliks bankrekeninge. Berekenings van BTW en voltooing van BTW201 aanvrae. Deelname aan BTW hersiening deur SARS. Help met die berekening van voorraadkoste. Voltooi belastingberekenings en forms(BTW, EMP201, ens). Voer data in, handhaaf rekords en maak rekords. Verwerk debiteure/krediteure betyds. Onderhou die vaste batesregister in Excel, insluitend waardevermindering en skade berekenings. Berei maandelikse bestuursrekeninge voor en help met enige ander finansiële funksies soos versoek deur die Finansiële Bestuurder. Posvereistes: Beproefde boekhouerervaring (minimum 5 jaar). Ervaring in ‘n vervaardigingsomgewing is verkieslik. Sterk begrip van basiese boekhouding, insluitend debiteure, posbeskrywings en die bestuur van finansiële syfers. Proficient in Excel, Sage Evolution, of soortgelyke sagteware. Moet professioneel, betroubaar en in staat wees om sperdatums na te kom. Eie vervoer en geldige bestuurslisensie. Kwalifikasie of Graad in Rekeningkunde of ‘n verwante veld is voordelig. Karaktereienskappe: Sterk aandag aan detail. Vermoë om junior personeel te lei en te mentor.
