About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Broiler Department Manager to lead our Pretoria-based broiler operations in Papua New Guinea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex broiler systems and driving performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large, dispersed teams to drive measurable performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, workplace safety, and environmental regulations
- Implement and maintain livestock performance systems, traceability platforms, and modern farm automation technologies
- Foster excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in broiler management within complex or large-scale farming environments
- Experience in vertically integrated poultry operations is advantageous
- Strong understanding of biosecurity, animal welfare, workplace safety, and environmental compliance requirements
Qualifications
Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field
