About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic SHEQ Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across their operations. As a seasoned professional, you will drive safety, quality, and compliance to the next level, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment for our clients’ employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, systems, and procedures in line with local and international standards.
- Conduct routine safety audits and site inspections to proactively identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and driving effective preventative measures.
- Deliver safety training and awareness programmes across all levels of the organization.
- Monitor SHEQ performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management and emissions control.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards through internal audits and process reviews.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong industry relationships to stay ahead of compliance changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.
- Recognised certifications in Health & Safety, Environmental, or Quality Management are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar SHEQ leadership role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ-related legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and relevant SHEQ software tools.
