Employer Description Our client is an established South African construction company known for residential, commercial, and specialised building projects Job Description You will: Supervise daily site operations , ensuring all construction activities run smoothly and according to the project plan. Coordinate subcontractors and workers , allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Implement and uphold quality control procedures , ensuring workmanship meets high-quality benchmarks. Ensure strict health and safety compliance on-site, including conducting toolbox talks and enforcing safety protocols. Monitor progress against schedules , identifying delays early and reporting issues to the Site Manager or Project Manager. Interpret construction drawings and specifications , ensuring teams understand and correctly execute project requirements. Manage materials and resources , including ordering supplies, preventing waste, and maintaining stock levels. Maintain accurate site records , including daily logs, site diaries, attendance registers, and progress reports. Oversee site inspections , ensuring work is prepared for partner or client walkthroughs and meets regulatory standards. Foster professional communication , liaising with clients, engineers, inspectors, and the project team to ensure smooth project delivery. Qualifications Matric Any construction or engineering related qualification will be advantageous Skills Minimum 5 years construction experience Extensive site experience, preferably experienced in high end residential & multi-unit developments.
