A well-established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Financial Manager to strengthen the finance team at their East Rand operations.

This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys partnering with management, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and playing an active role in informed financial decision-making. It offers a strong platform to further develop both leadership and technical finance skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Management of core financial processes including month-end closing, reporting, and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash-flow planning
• Assist with compliance, audits, and maintenance of internal controls
• Deliver financial insights to support operational efficiency and strategic initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

 
Job Experience & Qualifications:

• BCom degree (essential)
• SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA qualification advantageous
• 3–5 years’ relevant financial experience
• Exposure to Manufacturing or Retail environments is highly beneficial
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
