About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Representative to join our team in Pretoria. As an external sales representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products and services to customers, building relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide after-sales support when required
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly client visits within assigned territory
- Prepare weekly sales reports and provide market feedback
- Handle special client enquiries, pricing, quotations, and availability checks
- Report product shortages or issues to management
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Maintain accurate records, vehicle logbook, fuel slips, and admin files
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular visits
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
Requirements
- Matric
- At least 2-3 years experience in the packaging environment
- Proven sales experience (external sales preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the retail packaging industry will be a strong advantage
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
