About the Role
The Game Ranger position in Pretoria offers a unique opportunity to work in a reserve environment, surrounded by breathtaking wildlife and natural beauty. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team, responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring the well-being of our guests, and contributing to the conservation of our wildlife and ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily park operations, including enforcing regulations and maintaining safety standards
- Conduct guided game walks, sharing knowledge of wildlife and providing exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement conservation initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of park activities, guest interactions, and wildlife monitoring
Requirements
- Matric FGASA Level 1 qualification
- Valid PDP First Aid Level 1 certification
- Rifle competency will be advantageous for certain tasks
- Previous guiding experience in a lodge or reserve environment
- Passion for wildlife conservation and guest experience
Qualifications
- Completed Matric with a valid FGASA Level 1 qualification
