Job Summary

Requirements:

Minimum of B. Eng/ B. Sc/B-Tech in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering, or similar qualification.Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the relevant field both hardware and software.Knowledge of Supabase and PostgreSQL will be advantageous. Experience in the Power electronics or Electricity/Metering environment will be a great advantage. Expert in software development/programming in VB and C# (Visual Studio), HTML5, aspx, JavaScript, API functionality, Arduino, SQL.Expert knowledge in and experience with PCB and circuit Layouts, Design and component selection. I.e. experience in formal design, development and embedded software programming of electronic boards and microchips. Experience in ESP boards will be advantageous. A portfolio would be an advantage.A drivers license and your own reliable transport.Skills:Be passionate about the field of work.Be able to work in a team and also unsupervised. Be creative and innovative.Have great interpersonal skills.Must be able to work under high pressure and be flexible re work hours.Excellent analysis skills and be able to apply vertical and lateral logic.

Duties:

Development of PCBs and other hardware for communication with smart meters.Integrate PCBs with and development/programming of software/information systems.Remote debugging/problem solving with technicians in the field.Maintain and manage information systems.Troubleshoot and user support of information systems.
