About the Role

We are seeking a Junior to Mid Level Accountant (Hospitality) to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full accounting support, preparing financial statements, and managing various aspects of our hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full accounting function including journals, accruals, provisions and reconciliations
  • Preparation of management accounts and variance analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Inventory control and stock variance analysis
  • Preparation of Financial Statements and support with Group reporting
  • Management of CAPEX, asset register and banking
  • Payroll administration and VAT submissions
  • Involvement in year-end and Annual Financial Statements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Financial or Management Accounting or equivalent
  • 35 years relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in cost accounting (BOM, inventory, raw material planning, WIPs)
  • Strong understanding of cost of sales and gross margin analysis
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Experience on accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, reporting models)
