About the Role
Dante Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Lean Expert and Manufacturing Scheduler to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for implementing lean manufacturing principles and scheduling processes to optimize production efficiency. With a strong background in engineering and experience in manufacturing plant management, we are looking for an individual who can bring expertise in process improvement and risk management to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to improve production efficiency
- Create and manage schedules to ensure optimal production planning and execution
- Conduct statistical analysis and problem-solving to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize production downtime
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- At least five (5) years practical experience in a manufacturing plant involved with scheduling and planning
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma or similar methodologies
- Sound analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of Computer literacy
