About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Linux / Platform / Operations Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our IT operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, operate, and maintain Linux-based platforms and services
- Develop and maintain automation, scripts, and playbooks
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability
- Support incident, problem, and change management
- Manage authentication, access, and security vulnerabilities
- Maintain system documentation, CMDBs, and SOPs
Requirements
- 56 years of experience in Linux, platform, or operations engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments
- ITIL knowledge or certification advantageous
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Dynatrace Monitoring & Tooling
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
