About the Role
Profile Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Rosslyn, Gauteng. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations that meet our quality targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive customer demand and verify accuracy weekly
- Issue Raw Material / Component forecasts to suppliers weekly, monthly and yearly
- Coordinate and monitor the receiving of Goods and raw materials into Fixed Stock Locations and dispatch of finished goods from finished goods location
- Notify the quality department of any quality non-conformances which may lead to Customer complaints
- Investigate Variances
Requirements
- National Diploma in Logistics Management/Supply Chain
- Project Management advantageous
- Plan raw material/component requirements based on demand
- Ensure the inventory control method of FIFO is adhered to
- Improve employees awareness within the department of Quality Targets and Objectives
Qualifications
