About the Role
Our client in the Engineering industry is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mechanical design activities and supporting project execution stages.
Key Responsibilities
• Function well in a team environment
• Deliver HVAC, Lifts, Wet Services, and fire rational designs in totality
• Conduct all mechanical design activities for the assigned project scope
• Provide strong knowledge of Mechanical Building Services design principles, practices, and deliverables throughout various project execution stages
• Communicate with professional teams and key project stakeholders throughout project execution stages
• Compile tender documents, including bills of quantities and specifications outlining expected installation standards
• Compile stage completion reports, tender adjudication reports, and construction progress reports
• Travel to project sites as needed to support design and/or construction activities
• Attend site progress meetings and technical meetings
• Conduct site inspections, site supervision, and construction administration
• Oversee overall project management and project administration
• Provide technical support to Senior Project Managers & Project Directors
Requirements
Must have a BSc or BEng degree, Pr. Eng or eligible to register with ECSA
Be willing to relocate to Pretoria-Gauteng
Have at least a minimum of 5 years Mechanical Building Services experience
Experience on the following Computer Software Programs:
• CAD/Revit
• MS Project
• Excel
• HAP or Loadest
