Pretoria: Merchandise Planner

Key Responsibilities: – Analyse sales data and product performance to determine buying needs and stock levels. – Identify bestsellers, slow movers, and trends to guide purchasing decisions. – Work closely with the buying and operations teams to align product availability with demand. – Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock turnover. – Streamline planning and procurement processes to improve operational efficiency. – Prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations based on data insights. – Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and merchandising function. Requirements: – Degree in Supply Chain, Retail Management, Business, or a related field. – Minimum of 3 years experience in merchandise planning, forecasting, or a similar analytical role. – Strong Excel and data analysis skills. – Experience in sports goods, retail, or distribution will be advantageous. – Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. – Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
