What Youll Do Manage and grow portfolios with key insurers Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with insurer partners and stakeholders Monitor portfolio performance, analyse trends, and implement targeted action plans to drive profitability Prepare and manage financial and management reports, ensuring accurate data for decision-making Oversee underwriting policies and claims processes in collaboration with insurer partners Ensure smooth monthly operations including reconciliations, payments, and reporting cycles Support and develop the service advisor team, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and service excellence Participate in planning meetings, strategic meetings, and product improvement initiatives Identify operational gaps and work with internal systems to improve efficiency Train and mentor claims and underwriting consultants What You Bring 5 years experience in short-term insurance portfolio or account management Higher Certificate in Short-term Insurance (NQF 5) Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skills Excellent relationship-building and negotiation ability Proven communication skills in Afrikaans and English Knowledge in insurance systems Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or Insurance (advantageous) FAIS-compliant and RE5 certified preferred
