About the Role
As a Production Manager at Profile Personnel in Pretoria, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Your primary focus will be on raw material and equipment availability, efficient processing of materials into finished products, and timely delivery to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to legal regulations, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure raw material and equipment availability
- Efficient (OEE) processing of the material into finished product and on-time delivery (Just in Sequence) to the customer.
- Manage personnel goals against respective KPIs.
- Recommend new procedures and processes to improve quality and quantity and reduce production costs.
- Coordinate and lead activities in servicing, machinery, systems/equipment, facilities.
Requirements
- 8 years Managerial experience in a highly pressured production environment
- Planning, organizing, controlling skills
- Critical thinking and innovation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Decision making/problem solving skills and ability to cope with stressful situations
- Conflict handling and dispute resolutions skills
Qualifications
- Relevant degree/diploma with qualification in Production or Engineering
