About the Role
As a Production Manager at Profile Personnel, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient operations, and delivering high-quality products on time. You will work closely with customers, departmental heads, and HR to drive business growth and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure raw material and equipment availability
- Efficient (OEE) processing of material into finished product
- On-time delivery (Just in Sequence) to the customer
- Maintain product quality standards and comply with all legal regulations
- Manage direct and indirect work sequences in own area
- Regular liaison with Customer regarding expectations and performance
- Adhere to business operating systems and standards as identified by Quality Department
- Consult daily with other departmental heads for smooth work sequences in all shifts
- Manage personnel goals against respective KPIs
- Recommend new procedures and processes to improve quality, quantity, and reduce production costs
- Consult regularly with HR and join Union/Shop Steward Meetings
- Plan development of employees to improve performance and reach personal goals
- Develop succession plans for key positions in departments of responsibility
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
- Coordinate and lead activities in servicing, machinery, systems/equipment, facilities
- Compile and report on daily, weekly, and monthly performance
Requirements
Relevant degree/diploma with qualification in Production or Engineering
8 years Managerial experience in a highly pressured production environment
Computer Literate
