About the Role
Werkie is seeking a qualified petrol mechanic to join our team in Gezina, Pretoria. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, services, and inspections on vehicles from various manufacturers. If you have a strong passion for working with vehicles and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, services, and inspections on vehicles from various manufacturers
- Work on a variety of models not limited to a single brand
- Complete service tasks according to manufacturer standards
- Maintain neat work records and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
- Adhere to all safety and quality control standards
Requirements
- Red Seal Qualification: Petrol Mechanic (Diesel qualification only is not suitable)
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- 35 years of practical work experience in a similar workshop environment
- Capable of conducting diagnostics, repairs, services, and inspections on a variety of vehicle manufacturers
- Experience working with different vehicle brands is essential
- Must be able to speak Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport required
- Strong communication skills, self-driven, and dependable

Salary & Benefits
R16 000 – R16 500 (depending on experience) + Commission (R8000-R12 000 extra)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 07h30-17h00 (One Saturday per month paid as overtime)
