About the Role
Our client in the Insurance Industry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for servicing, marketing, and selling travel insurance/short term insurance products to agents and brokers. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, sound relationship building skills, and a strong track record of achieving sales targets, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Service, market, and sell travel insurance/short term insurance products
• Provide monthly visits, stock control, queries, and claims management, monitoring, increasing, and reporting sales and relationship building
• Train travel agents and brokers in the portfolio on products and systems
• Service corporate clients
• Attend workshops, conferences or any public relations events when required – this may include weekends and/or after-hours functions
Requirements
• Minimum Matric
• RE accreditation
• Previous Experience in relationship management with brokers in short term insurance industry
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
• Computer literate (Intermediate Excel, PP, Word, and Outlook)
• Previous work experienced in an unsupervised role
• Tertiary education an advantage
• Sales and marketing experience an advantage
Qualifications
• Completed RE accreditation
• Minimum Matric
