Job Description
The SAP Technical Consultant (Senior) will play a key role in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Work Zone solutions supporting HR Shared Service Centers across multiple countries.
The product landscape covers personnel master data management, Employee and Manager Self Services, HR document management, contract lifecycle administration, and compliance-related data maintenance.
The role also supports SPOT (Support Technologies), which extends HR core functionality by enabling employee-centric and administrative capabilities not covered by the core HR system. These solutions support daily HR operations such as contract design, electronic personnel file management, and employee query processing.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Work Zone spaces, pages, cards, and content structures.

Collaborate with enterprise architects to define integration approaches between SAP Work Zone and backend systems (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors).

Configure and manage authentication and authorization using SAP IAS/IPS or other identity providers.

Implement personalization and role-based content delivery to create tailored user experiences.

Ensure high performance, stability, and usability of Work Zone and portal components.

Support testing, deployment, documentation, and handover to operations teams.
-
Engage with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
-
Deep hands-on experience with SAP Work Zone, including configuration, site/content management, and user access.
-
Strong knowledge of SAP Launchpad / SAP Fiori integration with SAP Work Zone.
-
Experience implementing and customizing Work Zone Spaces, Sites, Pages, Cards, and Content Management components.
-
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services relevant to Work Zone (e.g. SAPUI5, Cloud Foundry).

Proficiency in identity and access management (SAML, OAuth, SAP IAS/IPS integration).
-
Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements.

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Experience with content lifecycle management, versioning, and permissions.
-
Solid understanding of integration technologies (OData, REST APIs, GraphQL).

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advantageous / Nice-to-Have Skills:

SAP certifications (SAP Work Zone, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP).

Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and SAP Identity Management.

Knowledge of Kyma runtime and extension development on SAP BTP.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP.

Experience with personalization, adaptive UIs, and role-based delivery in Work Zone.

Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices.
-
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
-
5+ years experience in SAP Portal, SAP Fiori, or SAP Work Zone implementations.
-
At least 2 years focused specifically on SAP Work Zone projects.

Proven track record delivering end-to-end Work Zone solutions, including design, integration, testing, and operational handover.
