Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic tax advice and ensure everything is compliant with SA tax laws (we like our taxes like we like our coffee – properly handled). Manage complex tax projects, from structuring and planning to audits – basically, turning chaos into perfectly balanced ledgers. Review and oversee tax computations, returns, and reporting for clients or business units (bonus points if your Excel skills are wizard-level). Advise on cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and international tax considerations – be the globe-trotting tax guru we know you can be. Mentor and guide junior team members on technical tax matters, passing on the secrets of your number-crunching mastery. Job Experience and Skills Required: Minimum Honors in Accounting or equivalent; CTA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred. 5 years in tax advisory, corporate tax, or public practice; experience in senior or managerial roles is a big plus. Strong technical tax knowledge, problem-solving skills sharper than a pencil. Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency. Ability to make complex tax concepts sound not boring.
