Job Description

About the Role

AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Team Leader to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, supporting, and maintaining Audio Visual equipment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of Audio Visual equipment;
Support of Audio Visual equipment;
Installation of cabling and determining cable runs;
Termination of all Audio Visual cabling according to best practice standards;
Comprehensive knowledge of proper tool usage;
Mounting of Audio Visual equipment on any surface required;
Neatening and labelling racks;
Implementing solutions according to technical schematics;
Managing a UC installation team;
Must be able to work independently and alone on site support;
Adhering to safety standards and regulations. This includes use of required PPE always;
Keeping an installation site neat and clean;
Preparing equipment, cabling and consumables for installations according to the solution required;
Must be available to work overtime when required;
Must be available to travel for installations when required;
Completing training when required;
Providing remote/ telephonic support;
Advances fault-finding;
Comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination and best practice standards;
Video Conferencing and Audio Visual Equipment Configuration;
Preparing properly before attending to a site;
Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues.

Requirements

Senior Certificate (essential);
Minimum 2 – 4 year’s Audio Visual Experience;
Strong knowledge of Audio Visual Systems;
AMX, Crestron and Extron qualifications strong advantage;
Proof of technical skills and experience;
Must have valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Senior Certificate is required.
