Job Description
Candidate will be required to travel to clients (will use Company vehicle, so must have a valid driver’s license)
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation of Audio Visual equipment;
• Support of Audio Visual equipment;
• Installation of cabling and determining cable runs;
• Termination of all Audio Visual cabling according to best practice standards;
• Comprehensive knowledge of proper tool usage;
• Mounting of Audio Visual equipment on any surface required;
• Neatening and labelling racks;
• Implementing solutions according to technical schematics;
• Managing a UC installation team;
• Must be able to work independently and alone on site support;
• Adhering to safety standards and regulations. This includes use of required PPE always
• Keeping an installation site neat and clean;
• Preparing equipment, cabling and consumables for installations according to the solution required;
• Must be available to work overtime when required;
• Must be available to travel for installations when required;
• Completing training when required;
• Providing remote/ telephonic support;
• Advances fault-finding;
• Comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination and best practice standards;
• Video Conferencing and Audio Visual Equipment Configuration;
• Preparing properly before attending to a site;
• Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues.
Qualifications Required:
• Senior Certificate (essential);
• Minimum 2 – 4 year’s Audio Visual Experience;
• Strong knowledge of Audio Visual Systems;
• AMX, Crestron and Extron qualifications strong advantage;
• Proof of technical skills and experience;
• Must have valid driver’s license
