About the Role
Our client in the Telecommunications industry is seeking an experienced UC/AV Team Leader to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and installation services for Audio-Visual equipment, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with suppliers, senior staff, and the Technical Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
• Support of Audio-Visual equipment
• Providing remote/telephonic support
• Advanced fault-finding
• Working independently and alone on-site support
• Preparing equipment, cabling, and consumables for installations according to the solution required
• Preparing properly before attending to a site
• Installation of Audio-Visual equipment
• Installation of cabling and determining cable runs
• Termination of all Audio-Visual cabling according to best practice standards
• Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Equipment Configuration
• Mounting of Audio-Visual equipment on any surface required
• Neatening and labelling racks
• Implementing solutions according to technical schematics
• Adhering to safety standards and regulations
• Keeping an installation site neat and clean
• Comprehensive knowledge of proper tool usage and tool management
• Managing a UC installation team daily and within the field or on-site
• Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues
• Completing training when required
• Completing site audit reports and job-reporting after project completion
• Providing feedback to Technical Coordinator regarding job progress
Requirements
• Senior Certificate
• Comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination, and best practice standards
• Minimum 2-4 years’ Audio-Visual Experience
• Strong knowledge of Audio-Visual Systems
• AMX, Crestron, and Extron qualifications
• Proof of technical skills and experience
• Valid driver’s license
