About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Profile Personnel in Komani, Eastern Cape. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility and ensuring that we meet our budget, goals, targets, and due dates.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Production consistently meets budget, goals, targets, and due dates-created value for business.
- Monitor stock losses / store variances.
- Manage line productivity yield/ Labour productivity.
- Control and reduction of power and fuel consumption.
- Manage headcount budget and overtime.
- Detect and reveal deviations and trends in a timely manner, formulate action plans for recovery and improvement.
- Consistently ensure SHEQ management practices are applied, and the site conforms to regulatory and QMS requirements. Risk Audits
- Work procedures and processes are aligned and improved to ensure smooth flow of work across departments.
- Manage, develop, and motivate the Production team to achieve Production objectives.
- Put plans in place for team development in line with the Care & Growth philosophy.
- Create and foster an environment and culture of teamwork.
- Adopt an inclusive team leadership approach.
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Be responsible for production output, product quality.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant corporate experience.
- Food, beverage, or high-speed packaging experience.
- At least 3 years at managerial level.
- Strong track record of delivering results in a manufacturing role.
- Computer literacy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is essential.
- Degree (Manufacturing / Technical) is an added advantage.
