About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Randburg, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions and driving employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
  • Administer employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures
  • Ensure adherence to South African labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR information systems
  • Administer payroll and employee benefit programs
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Develop and implement Skills Development programs, including training needs analysis and reporting in line with SETA requirements
  • Manage Employment Equity processes, including EE reporting, committee facilitation, and implementation of transformation strategies

Requirements

  • Recruitment experience
  • Onboarding and exit process management
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • HRIS system administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Matric Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Skills Development and Employment Equity compliance and reporting
  • Knowledge and experience with the Main Agreement for the MEIBC (advantageous)
