About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team in Randburg. The ideal candidate will have a profound electrical engineering background, industry experience in sales and business development, and a thorough understanding of technical processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively market and promote our existing product portfolio to mining and heavy Industry
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
- Conduct detailed customer meetings to discuss and promote our solutions
- Prepare and manage quotations and tender documents
- Analyze market trends to recommend strategic product portfolio expansions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, OEMs, government transport bodies, and industry stakeholders
- Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts in line with company targets
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue growth objectives
- Manage CRM records, generate reports, and track the sales pipeline effectively
Requirements
- N6 or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development in electrical and industrial sectors
- Familiarity with industrial automation and energy systems integration
